As we approach Thanksgiving, I wanted to do two things: (1) give thanks to the GameOn! community for its continuing support and (2) ask folks to donate gently used and new games and gaming supplies to GameOn!
Let's do the thanks first. GameOn! will be transitioning to a new fiscal sponsor soon. More details will be forthcoming when it is a done deal. For those who have donated - whether it be cash, supplies, games, or their time - a big thanks! If you are considering donating cash, GameOn! kindly asks that you wait until we are set up with our new sponsor, which should happen before 1 January 2026. Now, this coming Tuesday 2 December is Giving Tuesday. In the past, we have had a few cash donations, but I'd like to use the opportunity to kindly ask folks to donate new or gently used board and role playing games and supplies (we pretty much take anything!) for Giving Tuesday. To arrange a donation, please email us at [email protected]. The role playing games and supplies we will use to support our after school and summer programs. The board games we will find new homes for, typically in exchange for cash donations. GameOn! will be at PAGE 3 in January 2026 and participating in both its charity auction and flea market. The charity auction will allow us to support two good causes: (1) GameOn! itself and (2) PAGE's charity, the Gamer Assistance Fund. GameOn! Founder David Perlman will be auctioning some of his cherished early D&D and RPG collectibles at the auction and split the revenue with PAGE. Click here to see what's on offer - in case you'd like to swoop in and make an offer before PAGE happens (just send an email to [email protected]). The flea market is different. GameOn! has received many donations of board games and gaming books and supplies. At the flea market, folks at PAGE can provide a cash donation in exchange for games and supplies, and GameOn! will use those funds for its operating budget to bring more RPGs to the Philadelphia area. So, here's the ask for the flea market: Contact us to donate your new or gently used board games and role playing games so we can then sell them at the flea market. If you will be at PAGE and would like a preview of what we will have on offer, please click here and let us know what you might be interested in. If you can match or beat the suggested donation, we can set aside that game for you, especially if you wish to donate in advance of PAGE. As a charitable organization, GameOn! can provide donation receipts for any donations. We thank you in advance for your generosity.
